Heck Yes, I Believe In Your
Constitutional Rights!
Here are just a few, I have many others.
Contact me to find out where I stand on the issues important to you!
How is it possible to have those in elected office take an oath to the constitution, yet when making and passing laws, their criteria changes and they pass laws diminishing your God-given rights?
Those who can give up essential liberty to gain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
- Ben Franklin
Without the 2A the rest of your rights are gone!
I will ALWAYS stand up for your 2A rights! I believe "Shall Not Be Infringed" means exactly that! I also know the 2A isn't for hunting, it's to keep those pesky tyrants in line.
Life At Conception
I believe life begins at conception. Therefore, If life begins at conception, shouldn't that life be entitled to the same rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness? How am I wrong? Yes, I believe in your body your choice, but isn't this embryo a person? Just asking.... If the physical life of the mother is at risk, this is a conversation between the mother and her doctor.
Property Rights = Freedom
Why is it we can pay off our homes, but the property is never fully ours? This is not the way our founding fathers envisioned our country to be. Taxes in perpetuity? Why?
Eminent Domain, though sometimes necessary, is egregious and has a hurdle to jump over, it must be for PUBLIC USE, not for any reason deemed necessary by a corrupt government.
"Freedom and Property Rights are inseparable. You can't have one without the other."
- George Washington
14th Amendment does not mean a free pass!
Every state is now a border state. We need to say no to illegal immigration. Just because someone makes it to the United States and pops out a baby does not make them subject to the jurisdiction thereof. It makes them a criminal who had a baby on foreign soil. We need to pack their bags and send them back to their country of origin. If they want to come here, let them do so legally. No other country in the world allows this, why should we?
Taxes
We may not have an income tax in South Dakota, but the state coffers are filled with our tax money. This money is only going to grow government. This is morally wrong, as it should be coming back to us not held so some bureaucrat can use it for their pet project. We need a Taxpayer Bill of Rights. We need to look at how we can lower taxes not see how many more we can squeeze from our citizens.
Election Integrity
I find it interesting, most everyone knows Election Fraud happens, yet the desire to fix it is seemingly non-existent. Why?
It's a simple fix, paper ballots, yet most don't want to do it because they say it could take too long to count or it's inconvenient. I'm sorry, but how is having trustworthy elections an inconvenience?
"Those who vote decide nothing. Those who count the vote decide everything."
- Joseph Stalin
